MUSIC SCHOLARSHIP CONCERT (October 14)
The CSN Choral and Instrumental programs present an unforgettable evening of music and song, in a fundraising effort for the Joe Williams Music Scholarship Fund. The fund, established in 1989, has helped over 400 CSN students achieve their music education goals. The concert will be held Oct. 14 at 7:30 p.m. in the Nicholas J. “ROSENCRANTZ and GUILDENSTERN ARE DEAD” (October 15-24)
The CSN Department of Fine Arts presents Tom Stoppard’s imaginative comedy–a behind the scenes, worm’s eye view of Hamlet, directed by Michael Kimm–Oct.15, 16, 22, 23 at 7:30 p.m. and Oct. 17 and 24 at 2 p.m. in the BackStage Theatre at the Cheyenne Campus, 3200 E. A “LOVERLY” AFTERNOON OF LERNER & LOEWE (October 23-24) Special Engagement
A benefit for the CSN Performing Arts Center and Family Promise of Las Vegas will be held at 2 p.m. on Oct. 23 and 24 in the Nicholas J. Horn Theatre, 3200 E. Cheyenne Ave., North Las Vegas. Selections from Camelot, Gigi, Brigadoon, My Fair Lady and Paint Your Wagon will be performed by singers and musicians from Las Vegas Strip productions. $25 adults; $20 students/seniors. INFORMAL DANCE CONCERT (November 10)
Experience a demonstration of what transpires in the wide array of CSN dance classes. Ballet, modern dance, jazz, tap, ballroom, yoga, Middle-Eastern dance and special presentations from the Dance Club and choreography class will be included. FALL DANCE CONCERT – (December 3 & 4)
Themes of life, death, resurrection, duty, pride, faith and a really big fish swim through new works presented by the CSN Dance Ensemble and the internationally acclaimed Concert Dance Company. Choreographer Kelly Roth unveils his latest creation based on the book of Jonah. The concert will be held in the Nicholas J.
