AWESOME ADVENTURES LAS VEGAS – Rappelling Tour Information
Valley of Fire Rappelling-Canyoneering Tour

What an incredible Extreme Las Vegas Adventure: Sightseeing, rappelling, hiking and canyoneering in the Valley of
Fire State Park.

The Valley of Fire State Park is Nevada's Oldest, and Largest, State Park, dedicated in 1935. It is located
approximately 45 minutes from Las Vegas, right off Interstate 15. The sandstone cliffs and fiery red rock formations
are a photographer's dream, and the Native American Petroglyphs will amaze you with their detail and history. The
earliest visitors to the Valley of Fire State Park were the Basketmaker People and the Anasazi Pueblo Farmers. They
visited this area from approximately 300 B.C. to 1150 A.D., most likely for hunting, food gathering and religious
ceremonies. The scarcity of water in the region would have prevented long inhabitations.

Your visit to the Valley of Fire State Park will include hiking, a stop at the Visitor's Center, viewing of the Petroglyphs,
and Rappelling at Lone Rock. The rappelling is some of the best in the area, and is great for both beginners and
experienced Rappellers. You will get 2 Rappels, ranging from 60-150'! All safety gear is included, and your
Rappelling Guide is professionally trained, knowledgeable about the area, and Wilderness First Aid Trained.

Hiking and canyoneering in the Valley of Fire State Park is an incredible experience. You will venture into lesser
travelled areas with slot canyons and amazing scenery.
