The Howard W. Cannon Aviation Museum at Harry Reid International Airport (formerly McCarran) is one of the unique spots you can visit for free. This indoor museum at the Las Vegas airport honors former U.S. Cannon and gives you a historical look at aviation in Southern Nevada, covering the period from the inaugural flight in 1920 to the era of jet travel.
Focusing on the rich tapestry of both commercial and general aviation history, the exhibit covers the first flight in 1920 to the advent of jets, with supplementary displays strategically placed throughout Terminal 1.
