Visit the Legacy Club to pay homage to Las Vegas’ Founding Fathers.
High up on the 60th floor of Circa Resort, The Legacy Club offers incredible views and some Las Vegas history. Near the entrance to the rooftop lounge, you can see a display containing 11 metal busts of the city’s Founding Fathers. These leaders are honored for pushing new ideas that molded the future of Las Vegas. The statutes were created by local artist Nick Stiley.
Here are the Las Vegas Founding Fathers on Display:

- Benny Binion: The gambling icon and mobster who founded the Horseshoe Casino and the World Series of Poker.
- Bob Stupak: The casino owner and promoter who built Vegas World and the Stratosphere and was known for his flamboyant personality and outrageous stunts and bets.
- Frank Fertitta: The casino executive and founder of the Station Casinos, who catered to the local market and co-founded the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC).
- Howard Hughes: A billionaire tycoon and aviator who moved to Las Vegas and bought several hotels, casinos, and land. He lived in isolation and secrecy in his penthouse suite at the Desert Inn.
- Jackie Gaughan: Warmly dubbed the “King of Downtown,” Gaughan owned numerous casinos in whole or in part, such as the El Cortez. He was also a generous philanthropist.
