Las Vegas Boulevard Scenic Byway Neon Signs Art Project
In 2023, the City of Las Vegas restored and reinstalled 15 beautiful historic neon signs as part of the Las Vegas Boulevard Scenic Byway Project.
The Neon Museum and YESCO Custom Electric Signs partnered with the City of Las Vegas to develop the signs project displayed along Las Vegas Boulevard, from the gateway arches to The Neon Museum and Washington Avenue.
Preserving Las Vegas History in Neon
The museum displays 15 restored neon signs as public art. The first was the Caballero sign from the Hacienda Hotel in 1996. In 2009, signs from the Silver Slipper, Bow & Arrow Motel, and Binion’s Horseshoe were added. In 2010 and 2012, more signs, including Atomic Liquors, were installed.
