Explore the eco-friendly beauty of UNLV’s Donald H. Baepler Xeric Garden
Outside of the Marjorie Barrick Museum entryway is a garden area containing plants that require little water and irrigation systems optimized for use.
The garden is a tranquil oasis in the heart of campus, showcasing thoughtful water conservation. Also, be sure to check out the Klinkhammer Bird Viewing Ramada, a popular spot on the north end of the garden.
Plant species from areas around the world, such as Australia, South America, Mexico, the Mediterranean, and all four desert regions of North America, are found throughout the garden, which was designed by well-known local landscape architect Jack Zunino and covers more than 9,000 square feet.
