Las Vegas Convention and Visitor Authority’s visitor center

Visitors at the LVCVA Information Center had access to free amenities, including brochures, maps, and email services.

Welcome to our webpage dedicated to the historical visitor center that once was across Paradise Road from the primary convention halls. This compact visitor center on Convention Center Drive provided many resources to eager tourists like yourself. Visitors could find an assortment of brochures, maps, coupons, and flyers showcasing the various attractions in the area. Moreover, there was an opportunity to watch an informative visitor information video and access an Apple computer to use dial-up internet to check AOL and MySpace, all for free.

Adding to the charm of the experience, the visitor center employed a friendly individual, usually a senior citizen, who was more than willing to engage in conversation about Las Vegas or any other topic of interest. Unfortunately, this visitor center, which was the LVCVA’s smallest of all, is now permanently closed.

It’s worth noting that the LVCVA operates no other physical buildings or staffed visitor centers in Southern Nevada.

The visitor and tourism entity made a statement about the closures, acknowledging that while some visitors prefer physical brochures and maps, they have shifted to a fully digital platform. They assured that the necessary information can be easily accessed online.

We wish you a fantastic visit to Las Vegas!
