Experience the Magic of the Silverton Aquarium
If you’re looking for a free and fun attraction in Las Vegas, you won’t want to miss the Silverton Aquarium. Located within the Silverton Casino, just a few miles south of the Las Vegas Strip, the aquarium is open to the public at no cost.
This amazing saltwater aquarium is home to more than 4,000 tropical fish, stingrays, sharks, and mermaids! Yes, you read that right – mermaids! You can watch them swim and interact with the marine life in the 117,000-gallon reef tank.
Visitors can learn more about the aquatic life from the on-site marine biologist during interactive feeding shows that occur twice daily at 1:30 PM and 4:30 PM.
The mermaid swims are held every half hour except during the feeding shows from noon until 5:00 pm on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, and on Sunday from 10:30 am until 6:45 pm.
Make sure to stop by the Mermaid Lounge as well, where you can relax and admire two captivating 500-gallon jellyfish aquariums while enjoying a drink.
