Why Death Valley?

Death Valley is a land of extremes, bordered by the majestic Panamint Range to the northwest and south-westerly Black Mountains. It’s home to the lowest point in North America, the highest temperatures in the Western Hemisphere, and an unexpected variety of wildlife.

From the out-of-this-world Badwater Basin to the colorful Artist’s Palette, Death Valley is an ode to our planet and everything that shaped it.
