Las Vegas has several year-round ice rinks as well as some seasonal rinks that open during the Holidays. One of the most popular is found at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, where the pool is transformed into a winter wonderland overseeing the Las Vegas Strip!
Admission charges, skate rental prices, and public skating days/hours vary, so call or check online for more information. The following ice rinks in Las Vegas offer open skating to the public.
Year-round Ice Skating Rinks
City National Arena – Home of the Vegas Golden Knights!

Looking to skate like a pro and feel like a Golden Knight? Look no further than the City National Arena in Las Vegas! This arena is the heart of hockey in Las Vegas and is home to the Vegas Golden Knights.
With its state-of-the-art facilities, friendly staff, and real ice, you’re guaranteed to have a fantastic time. Whether you’re an experienced skater or a beginner, City National Arena has open public skate sessions for everyone, and skate rental is available.
Dine-in with ice arena views or pizza and pub classics at MacKenzie River Pizza, Grill & Pub.

Las Vegas Ice Center
Chill Out at Las Vegas Ice Center!
Las Vegas Ice Center is a two-sheet facility for both hockey and figure skating. A great place to practice your skills or have fun with friends and family, whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned skater, this center caters to all. You can enjoy open skate sessions or take figure skating lessons. NHL-sized ice sheets provide ample space for freestyle moves. Skate rentals are offered and included with the open skate fee. Lace up your skates at Las Vegas Ice Center, where frosty fun awaits.

America First Center (formerly Lifeguard Arena)
Community spirit and hockey dreams await.
The America First Center is the official practice facility of the Henderson Silver Knights and features two sheets of real ice. This 120,000-square-foot indoor arena offers top-notch facilities and friendly staff. Located in Henderson, it’s perfect for skating and fulfilling your hockey dreams. The center caters to all levels of skaters and offers opportunities to host private events. The team store in the arena lobby is an official team apparel store for the Henderson Silver Knights.

Prices: There is no cost to enter the Boulevard Pool and enjoy the Ice Rink area.
- Open Skating: $30 daily fee for all ages. Mon-Thurs: $20 for locals, military personnel, and first responders with valid ID.
- Skate Rental: Ice skating admission includes all-day skating access and skate rentals. Guests may also bring their own skates (same rates apply).
- Skate Aids and Reindeer Rental: $15 per hour.

The Rock Rink at Downtown Summerlin is an outdoor ice skating rink that offers a perfect combination of ice skating, live music, and a festive atmosphere.
