Las Vegas knows how to celebrate Valentine’s Day! This city is famous for weddings and offers many great restaurants, top chefs, and expert sommeliers. If you’re spending Valentine’s Day here, we have a list of romantic activities and casual options. Remember to make reservations in advance at popular restaurants.
You can enjoy fantastic shows, unique attractions, and some of the best hotels in the world. Our guide includes favorite romantic activities and dining spots, ensuring you find something special for you and your partner. There is something for everyone to have a wonderful time in Las Vegas on Valentine’s Day!
Are you looking for romance in Las Vegas?
Well, it doesn’t get any more romantic than the winding Canals of Venice at the Venetian/Palazzo, where you and your sweetheart can take a real Gondola Ride, complete with a singing gondolier, or there’s the Eiffel Tower Viewing Deck, where you can take in incredible views of the Strip including the Fountains of Bellagio. If you have the budget, grab a reservation at the Eiffel Tower Restaurant – its French cuisine, service, and atmosphere are amazing!
Ethel M’s Annual Lights of Love
This Valentine’s Day experience will take guests through an illuminated cactus garden lit with over half a million red, purple, and pink twinkling lights. While visiting the ‘Lights of Love’ display, attendees can enjoy special Valentine’s offerings from the food truck, including Ethel M Chocolates’ famous hot chocolate, chocolate-covered cannoli, and strawberries.
Get a Room and Make Dinner Reservations!
While hotel room deals may still be available as Valentine’s Day approaches, it is best to book as far in advance as possible and then check for new, lower rates before your trip. Also, be sure to check resort fees and parking costs, as these affect your overall expenses when deciding where to stay. For lower prices, check downtown casinos first since the Strip is substantially more expensive. Our recommendation for less expensive but luxury-ish is the Downtown Grand Las Vegas. For the Strip, stay at a place within your price range that is in the best location to where you want to be the most to avoid extra costs like taxis and ride-share.
For dining on Valentine’s Day, it is essential to secure reservations well in advance if you plan to go someplace romantic. Some we really like are Casa di Amore for off-strip dining, the Eiffel Tower Restaurant for the most magnificent views, and Hugo’s Cellar at the Four Queens Hotel downtown. There are, of course, hundreds of others to choose from, but make your reservation early to get your choice of times. If you find yourself out of luck, though, your best bet would be the Peppermill Fireside Lounge and Restaurant, across from Resorts World Las Vegas.
