Cashman Field, a 10,000-seat stadium nestled in the heart of downtown Las Vegas, is a testament to adaptability and versatility. Its rich history dates back to the 1940s when it was first erected, only to be torn down and rebuilt into its current form in 1982. For decades, it was the home of the Las Vegas Stars/51s (now known as the Aviators), a minor-league baseball team. In 2018, it underwent a remarkable transformation, becoming the home of both professional baseball and soccer with the launch of the Lights FC.
The dirt infield, a symbol of its baseball heritage, was converted into a lush grass soccer pitch for the season. However, the 2019 season marked a new chapter as the baseball team moved to a new stadium in Summerlin, leaving Cashman Field to shine as a full-time professional soccer venue.
Originally built in a ‘square’ playing field configuration, Cashman Field has seamlessly transitioned into a soccer facility, offering excellent sight lines and a host of fan amenities near the field of play. These amenities, designed with the comfort and enjoyment of the fans in mind, enhance the overall experience of watching a game at Cashman Field. From the moment you step into the stadium, you’re greeted with a sense of excitement and anticipation, a feeling that lingers long after the final whistle.
