How to celebrate Veterans Day in Las Vegas

This year, Veterans Day lands on Monday, November 11, 2024.

Join the biggest Veterans Day Parade west of the Mississippi in Downtown Las Vegas! The parade is held annually on Veteran’s Day, regardless of the weekday it lands on. The parade starts at 10 am and ends at noon.

Visit the The Henderson Veterans Memorial Wall

Dedicated in November 1994, the Henderson Veterans Memorial Wall honors local veterans. It was constructed as a community tribute to our hometown heroes. Located adjacent to Henderson City Hall, the wall today bears more than 1,850 veterans and soldiers who served our country. The wall has panels that commemorate different categories of veterans, including Vietnam veterans, Persian Gulf War veterans, and Global War on Terror veterans who were living in Henderson at the time of their service. Additionally, the wall also honors deceased war veterans who lived in Henderson prior to 1980, as well as veterans killed in action living in Henderson after 1980.
